Residency Options

Her House of Grace offers thoughtfully designed shared-living options for adult women seeking a peaceful, stable place to live while focusing on their next chapter. 

Each option balances comfort, affordability, and structure—creating a calm, respectful home environment. 

Her House of Grace is designed to be accessible, stable, and straightforward.

Credit history is not a factor here. We do not consider credit scores, credit reports, or past evictions when reviewing applications. What matters most is your ability to afford rent and maintain consistent, on-time payments moving forward.
 

Income verification is required. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to afford rent and the required security deposit; three times the rent is not applicable. 

To apply, please provide one or more of the following:
 

• 30 days of recent pay stubs
   
• A new hire or offer letter
   
• Government assistance verification covering the full amount applicable for residency
   
• Or other verifiable sources of income
   

 Background checks are conducted.
As part of the application process, a soft background review is conducted to support a safe and respectful shared-living environment. 

Background information is reviewed individually, and findings are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Ownership. 

Lease terms are simple. 

All residency at Her House of Grace is offered on a month-to-month basis.

Application Fee: 

A $50.00 non-refundable application fee is required to apply. 

This fee covers administrative processing and a soft background screening.
 

Move-in costs are straightforward. 

To move in, residents are required to pay:

• First month’s rent
   
• A security deposit equal to one month’s rent

Guest policy: 

Guests are not permitted inside or outside the home at any time ever. Our homes operate at full residential capacity, and this policy helps preserve privacy, peace, and safety for all residents. Residents are free to come and go as they choose and may visit friends or family off-site.

 Her House of Grace offers more than a place to stay—it offers a calm, well-run home designed to support daily life and forward movement.

•  Convenient locations, with access to nearby bus lines in select areas 

• On-site laundry at no additional cost — Residents are asked to provide their own laundry detergent.
   
• Full kitchen access for daily meal preparation
   
• Residents are responsible for their own purchase and preparation of food and personal items
   
• Medication management is the responsibility of each resident

• Designated smoking area
   
• Drug-and alcohol-free living environment

 In addition to comfortable living spaces, our homes include intentional shared areas designed to support daily life and forward momentum. Upon entering, residents are welcomed by a warm environment, an inviting popcorn machine, and a calm ambience that creates a simple moment of comfort and community. 

Each home also features an Empowerment Corner—a shared space equipped with a community computer, printer, and resources for practical use, such as completing schoolwork or online classes, managing paperwork, and handling everyday responsibilities. This space is designed to support focus, productivity, and independence.

All homes include full utilities and complimentary Wi-Fi at no additional cost.

To support cleanliness and daily comfort, Her House of Grace also provides:

• Towels, washcloths, and dedicated makeup remover towels
   
• Complimentary body wash is installed in each bathroom
   

 A designated Resident Support Representative conducts weekly cleanings to support the cleanliness and upkeep of the home.

Our shared living bedrooms offer an affordable and comfortable option for women who value community and stability. These rooms feature twin-size beds and are designed to feel clean, organized, and calm—making shared living feel intentional rather than crowded.

This option is ideal for women who are focused on building consistency, maintaining peace, and living well within a shared home.

The shared living lower-level option provides a welcoming, well-maintained space within the home at a slightly higher rate. This option accommodates up to four women and offers a comfortable shared environment with a sense of separation from the main living areas, while still being part of the larger home community.

This option is ideal for women seeking affordability with a bit of added breathing room.

 $975 per month

Semi-private bedrooms offer increased privacy while still allowing residents to enjoy the benefits of shared living. These rooms are designed for two women and feature twin-size beds, making them ideal for those who prefer a quieter personal space without fully separating from the community.

Semi-private living combines comfort, peace, and affordability in a calm, thoughtfully maintained setting.

All residency options at Her House of Grace are independent adult living. Residents are free to come and go as they choose and manage their own daily lives. Her House of Grace is not a program or service—just a peaceful, structured home for women who value stability, respect, and forward movement.
